AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT, 6750 XT, and 6650 XT specs have been leaked

There’s some fresh talk about the upcoming AMD Radeon RX 6000 series graphics card refresh. While previous leaks contained unconfirmed information about these new maps, the latest update is far more specific. Tech news site WCCFTech revealed what to expect from AMD’s new Radeon RX 6950 XT, 6750 XT and 6650 XT cards in a new leak. However, before we get into the details, we caution you against taking this information as fact until you learn it directly from AMD.

These new models can replace the current Radeon 6000 series lineup, but at least serve as a performance upgrade, much like Nvidia offers its Ti and Super models. Each of these cards has faster clock speeds and memory, but at the cost of higher power consumption.

Say hello to the new Radeon 6000 series cards soon

The star of the show will be the AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT, a more powerful version of the 6900 XT. This card will have the Navi 21 XTX GPU with 80 compute units and 5120 stream processors. The game clock will increase from 2,015 MHz to 2,100 MHz. The boost clock will reach 2,310 MHz compared to the previous 2,250 MHz. Memory clock speeds reach 18 Gbps, while the 6900 XT supports 16 Gbps. This increases bandwidth from 512 GB/s to 576 GB/s. Finally, the TBP jumps from 300W on the 6900 XT to 335W.

It will be similar with AMD’s RX 6750 XT. The game clock will reach 2,495 MHz instead of 2,424 MHz. The boost clock will end up at 2,600MHz instead of 2,581MHz. The memory clock rate is 18 Gbit/s instead of 16 Gbit/s. The bandwidth is increased from the previous 384 GB/s to 432 GB/s. All of this will bring the RX 6750 XT to a TBP of 250W as opposed to 230W for the standard 6700 XT.

AMD’s RX 6650 XT will be the mainstream offering and the lowest performing card in the new lineup. This card will have a game clock of 2410MHz instead of 2359MHz. The boost clock will hit 2,635MHz, while the 6600 XT will hit 2,589MHz. The memory clock rate will reach 17.5 Gbps instead of 16 Gbps. This brings 280 GB/s of bandwidth instead of the 256 GB/s of the 6600 XT. TBP will be 180W, a notable increase over the 160W of the 6600 XT.

release date and prices

These cards are expected to launch on May 10th, as opposed to the original April 20th release date. The refresh lineup is also more expensive, although that’s not a huge surprise. The MSRP for AMD’s Radeon RX 6950 XT is expected to be over $1000, the RX 6750 XT should be $499 and the RX 6650 XT should be $399. These are rather small premiums, but perhaps more realistic given the current climate. The hope is that we’ll see these cards near their respective MSRPs this time around.

As with all leaked information, take it lightly. We’ll have to wait for confirmation from AMD on these specs for the Radeon RX 6950 XT, 6750 XT, and 6650 XT. We shouldn’t have to wait too long for more information anyway.

While this refresh is interesting as these cards should do a little better, you might still prefer to buy something that’s already on the market for a decent price. We’ve rounded up the best current prices for most AMD and Nvidia models to help you save time and money, not to mention a great graphics card.
